Northeast Parade 2010

DESIGN IT - CONSTRUCT IT - WEAR IT

We are facilitating 4 free workshops to guide Northeast neighbors in creating and building wearable “floats”, masks and banners for the parade.

This is a community project: we want a wide audience of Northeasters to express themselves and march together!

We encourage folks of all ages and backgrounds who live or work in Northeast to represent the diversity of Northeast.


Workshops:
4 workshops -
free and open to all
Saturdays May 29th, June 5th, 12th and 19th
11:30am -3:00pm at Edison High School
Attend one or more - however much time you need

Parade Date:
Tuesday June 22nd 2010 6:30pm


The Northeast Parade is a valued local tradition and the oldest community parade in Minnesota. Join ArtShare in the Parade! Help us celebrate today’s Northeast!

*In the interest of sustainability we will be creating non-motorized wearable “floats” out of scrap materials and re-used cardboard.

*We are looking for contributions to this project in the form of monetary donations or supplies, please call or email for drop off location.
