Northeast Parade 2010

YOU can be in the PARADE too.

Tuesday-June 22, 2010

We are facilitating 4 free workshops to guide Northeast neighbors in creating and building wearable “floats”, masks and banners for the parade.

This is a community project: we want a wide audience of Northeasters to express themselves and march together!

We encourage folks of all ages and backgrounds who live or work in Northeast to represent the diversity of Northeast.

4 workshops -
free and open to all
Saturdays May 29th, June 5th, 12th and 19th
11:30am -3:00pm at Edison High School
Attend one or more - however much time you need

Parade Date:

The Northeast Parade is a valued local tradition and the oldest community parade in Minnesota. Join ArtShare in the Parade! Help us celebrate today’s Northeast!

*In the interest of sustainability we will be creating non-motorized wearable “floats” out of scrap materials and re-used cardboard.

*We are looking for contributions to this project in the form of monetary donations or supplies, please call or email for drop off location.
